Paid Seva

Since day one in 2010 when we taught our first yoga classes in Newark, we have paid our yoga guides for their incredible services. Yoga guides get $30/hour for teaching in our schools and $30 for teaching community classes. We call it "paid seva" as seva is charity and the work our guides do with children is invaluable. Some of our yoga guides choose to donate their paid seva back to the organization. Each guide who does, receives an official donation letter for tax purposes.
